John was the typical Newport County armchair supporter who would watch for results while on his bum. He was always up to date with info on County when in discussions and arguments. We historically played snooker and had several beers. He would always compare the beer to the days when run pubs and its quality. His sense of humour was dry but witty and missed if you didn’t know him well. His favourite conversations were about his girls and how he enjoyed looking after them or how well they were doing. He clearly loved his family and will miss them all as they miss John boy. Take care old boy
